Only five minutes drive from all the amenities of Potes and five minutes walk from the four bars and restaurants of Tama, the top part of Aliezo village sits above the main valley floor with expansive views of the Picos de Europa to the east and the Cantabrian mountains to the south. Close to the Desfiladero de La Hermida (the gorge which separates the valleys of Liébana from the Costa Verde), the beaches of the Cantabrian Coast are only an hour away. Walking out of the village you'll find tracks crisscrossing the hillsides that are home to Wild boar, Roe deer, Black woodpecker and Wryneck among the wildlife.

Josefina and her family have converted a huge barn into three individual, comfortable and spacious houses for holiday rentals. Recycling as much of the original building materials as possible, the properties are true to the local architectural style of Liébana and are beautifully furnished. Two are three-bedroomed and a larger one is four-bedroomed sleeping, respectively, 7, 8 and 8/9. (Don't let this put you off however if you are just 1 or 2, Josefina does amazing deals for small parties). All 3 houses are spread over three floors and have fully-equipped kitchens, prettily tiled bathrooms, central heating, fireplaces and balconies. All bedding and towels are provided. The three houses share private parking, garden and barbecue area.
