A tour for Lepidoptera lovers, led by Teresa Farino.
30th June - 7th July 2010
These week-long tours in the mountains of northern Spain will take us through meadows, forests and alpine habitats in search of butterflies & moths, offering a wealth of photographic opportunities. We can expect to see around 100 species of butterfly from our daily exploits, of a total of 155 recorded in the area.
A fun-filled family holiday designed to bring children into contact with nature. Although the emphasis is on butterflies and moths, there is also the opportunity for hands-on contact with other invertebrates, reptiles and amphibians, as well as swimming in a mountain lake and a day at the beach. This tour is led by Teresa Farino, with the assistance of her 12 year-old twins, Annie & Gabriel.
