We've had great weather this week, sunny days and freezing nights, and have been snowshoeing around the lower slopes of the Picos and playing bridge by the fire in the evenings. Thanks Keith and Mike 2 for the company! 

We're thinking of spring and early summer walking while we have a little break between skiers.
May and June are the best months for wildflowers in the meadows and alpine habitats around the Picos, while birds are busy feeding their young.
